4box.net started our hosting services in February 2005 after years of managing our own servers because the hosting companies we used were unable to properly do it. We won't make outrageous claims about our service, but we do offer a money-back guarantee on all of our plans. Who else does that?

Our intel© 2.4GHz servers are on multi-homed OC-3 (155Mbps) and Gig-E (1000Mps) backbones with a guaranteed 99.99% uptime, located at the San Diego Technology Centre in California. The facility features direct fibre-optic connectivity to eight major Internet backbones, uninterruptable power from multiple UPS systems and a diesel generator, 24-hour surveillance and a sophisticated climate-control system. Our standard operating system is FreeBSD - a Unix-based secure OS. All hosting plans come with free email support, with the option of telephone support with a real technician at low cost.

All of our hosting plans are aimed at business users - and are therefore all managed to some extent, taking the burden off your shoulders of having to know exactly how to set up a database, or to change the look of your site, or to add a product to your shop, or to optimise your site for search engines, or to backup your data ... and the list goes on.
